Spreading Our Love for Children and Community

Valentine

Valentine’s Day is a day dedicated to love. The word conjures up images of cards, candy hearts, romantic dinners, and luscious chocolates. But there are many kinds of love, and today we want to talk about our love for the children who ride with us, the parents who trust us, and the communities we work in. Our drivers and franchisees are a part of those communities, giving back every day as we strive to provide the best in student transportation services.

Many of our drivers and franchisees have children of their own that we call “Taxi Mom® Babies,” because they grew up riding in the van along with their mother as she drove her route. These parents extend the love for their own children to their student riders, the precious cargo they carry back and forth to school each day.

Our customers are another extension of our close-knit organization. We care deeply about each and every one of you, your families, and the communities we serve. Over the years, many former riders have stayed connected with us, and we have participated in the milestones of their lives. We have attended graduations, weddings, and even baby showers!

This year, in addition to the traditional ways of celebrating Valentine’s Day, we invite you to think about it in a new way – as a day of gratitude and kindness, as a day to truly “spread the love.” Give your loved ones an extra hug; spend some time with an elderly person; compliment a coworker; smile at a stranger, or tell someone – like your child’s teacher, or the mail carrier – how much you appreciate what they do for you each day. Take a moment to think about all of the people who touch your life every day and be grateful for their presence.

From all of us at Taxi Mom, have a wonderful and love-filled Valentine’s Day. We appreciate each of you!
