Taxi Mom® Special Event Transportation

Terms & Conditions

Applies to FIFA 2026-related transportation, special event transportation, private/group bookings, and event-related transfers.

Effective Date: Upon Booking Confirmation

Form Version: TM-FIFA2026-V1.2_May2026

These Special Event Transportation Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern Taxi Mom® special event transportation services, including but not limited to FIFA 2026-related transportation, hotel and fan zone transportation, watch party and stadium-area transportation, airport/event transfers, and private or group event transportation (collectively, the "Event Services").

For purposes of these Terms, "Taxi Mom," "Company," "we," "our," and "us" include Taxi Mom®, LLC, its affiliates, subsidiaries, authorized operators, franchisees, contractors, drivers, vendors, representatives, and designated payment or operating entities.

Event Services are separate from Taxi Mom's school-year student transportation membership services, which are governed by separate membership agreements and policies.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific Booking Confirmation regarding date, time, route, vehicle type, group size, service package, or price, the Booking Confirmation controls those business details. These Terms control all general legal, payment, cancellation, conduct, liability, and operational terms unless Taxi Mom expressly states otherwise in writing.

Trademark Notice & Affiliation Disclaimer

TAXI MOM IS AN INDEPENDENT TRANSPORTATION PROVIDER AND IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH, ENDORSED BY, SPONSORED BY, OR OFFICIALLY CONNECTED TO FIFA, FIFA WORLD CUP 2026, ANY HOST CITY, STADIUM, TEAM, VENUE, EVENT ORGANIZER, HOTEL, AIRPORT, OR RELATED ENTITY UNLESS EXPRESSLY STATED IN WRITING. THE USE OF THE PHRASE "FIFA 2026-RELATED TRANSPORTATION" IS STRICTLY DESCRIPTIVE TO INFORM CLIENTS OF THE CHRONOLOGICAL AND GEOGRAPHIC SCOPE OF SERVICES AND DOES NOT IMPLY ANY OFFICIAL AFFILIATION.

1. Service Overview

Taxi Mom provides pre-booked Event Services for:

  • FIFA 2026 travelers and related events;
  • Transportation between hotels, fan zones, watch parties, stadium areas, and other designated locations;
  • Group and private event transportation, including airport/event-related bookings.

Event Services are scheduled, pre-booked transportation and are not rideshare, taxi, on-demand, or school-year membership services.

2. Booking Confirmation & Capacity Contingencies

A booking for Event Services ("Booking") is not confirmed, and no binding contract exists, until all of the following conditions have occurred:

  1. Taxi Mom has received payment in full or a deposit as otherwise agreed in writing;
  2. Taxi Mom has issued an official written or electronic Booking Confirmation;
  3. Pickup and drop-off locations have been specified and accepted by Taxi Mom;
  4. The service date and service time block have been confirmed; and
  5. Vehicle and group capacity have been manually verified and confirmed for the Booking by corporate dispatch.

Taxi Mom reserves the right to decline or cancel a proposed Booking at its sole discretion if operational, safety, regulatory, or capacity constraints cannot be met. If a Customer submits payment but fleet capacity cannot be verified or met, Taxi Mom's sole liability under this agreement is the prompt return of that specific payment.

3. Fixed Pricing / No Surge Pricing

Taxi Mom uses fixed, pre-set pricing for Event Services and does not apply real-time surge pricing or dynamic demand-based multipliers.

  • Fares are calculated in advance based on route, distance, time windows, group size, and operational costs.
  • The price displayed and agreed at the time of Booking is the fare for the confirmed Event Service and will not increase later due solely to demand, traffic, or event timing.
  • If the Customer requests changes to the itinerary, route, group size, vehicle type, or time block after Booking, Taxi Mom may provide updated pricing, which must be accepted before changes are confirmed.

4. Deposits and Final Payment

Taxi Mom may, at its discretion, allow certain group or private event Bookings to be reserved with a deposit.

  • Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits are non-refundable liquidated damages intended to compensate Taxi Mom for dynamic event pricing variables, scheduling holds, and upfront routing coordination costs. Deposits apply toward the total Booking balance.
  • The Booking Confirmation will state the amount of any required deposit and the deadline for final payment.
  • Final payment must be received by the deadline stated in the Booking Confirmation. Failure to pay the remaining balance by the deadline will result in immediate cancellation without a refund of the deposit.

5. Service Time Blocks

The confirmed service time block begins at the scheduled start time, not when the Customer or group boards the vehicle.

  • Customer delays, late arrivals, incomplete group assembly, or delayed re-boarding do not extend the confirmed service time block unless Taxi Mom approves an extension in writing and additional charges are accepted.
  • If the group is not ready by the scheduled start time, the driver may depart, wait, or reposition subject to operational needs, and wait or repositioning may incur additional charges.

6. What the Booking Includes

Unless otherwise stated in the Booking Confirmation, Event Services generally include:

  • Transportation during the confirmed service date and time block;
  • Use of a designated vehicle type and capacity suitable for the confirmed group size;
  • Transportation between the confirmed pickup and drop-off locations, including any approved intermediate stops listed in the Booking;
  • Driver time associated with the confirmed route and time block;
  • Reasonable boarding and disembarking time at each confirmed stop.

Any additional services (extended wait time, extra stops, additional vehicles, out-of-area routing) require Taxi Mom's approval, are subject to availability, and will incur additional charges.

7. What the Booking Does Not Include

Unless expressly agreed in writing, Event Services do not include:

  • Event tickets or admission to any game, venue, fan zone, or watch party;
  • Stadium or venue entry, security clearance, or fast-track access;
  • Any guarantee of specific parking locations or on-site loading zones;
  • Guaranteed arrival time at a specific gate, entrance, or seat;
  • Direct curbside pickup or drop-off at stadium or venue entrances where access is restricted by third parties;
  • Childcare, supervision of minors, or chaperone services;
  • Alcohol service, concessions, or hospitality services;
  • Unlimited itinerary changes or additional stops not confirmed in the Booking;
  • Excessive luggage, equipment, or items beyond standard capacity or safety limits.

8. Service Area and Out-of-Area Requests

Event Services are limited to the route, service area, and time block confirmed in the Booking.

  • Requests outside the confirmed service area, route, or time block are subject to operational approval, availability, and additional charges.
  • Taxi Mom may decline out-of-area requests that create safety, regulatory, or operational concerns.

9. Customer Responsibilities & Minor Supervision

The Customer or designated group leader ("Customer") is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete pickup and drop-off information, including access constraints, hotel instructions, and contact details;
  • Ensuring that the group is ready at the confirmed pickup location during the assigned pickup window;
  • Keeping the group reasonably together for boarding and re-boarding;
  • Communicating any changes or issues promptly through official Taxi Mom channels;
  • Ensuring that all riders follow driver instructions, safety rules, and applicable laws.

Taxi Mom does not provide unaccompanied minor transportation under these Event Services. If minors are included in a Booking, the Customer must ensure that a designated, named adult chaperone (aged 21 or older) is physically present in the vehicle for the entire duration of the trip to manage minor supervision before, during, and after transportation.

10. Prohibited Items & Alcohol Restrictions

Riders may not bring unlawful, hazardous, dangerous, or disruptive items into Taxi Mom vehicles, including but not limited to:

  • Weapons or items reasonably perceived as weapons;
  • Illegal substances;
  • Explosives, fireworks, or flammable materials;
  • Open alcohol containers where prohibited by law;
  • Items that emit strong odors, create excessive mess, or exceed safe vehicle capacity;
  • Any item the driver reasonably believes compromises safety or violates law or venue rules.

Alcohol consumption inside Taxi Mom vehicles is strictly prohibited unless expressly approved in writing by Taxi Mom Corporate and permitted by applicable law, vehicle type, insurance, and licensing requirements. Any violation of this policy by any individual passenger gives the driver immediate authority to terminate service for the entire group without a refund.

11. Rider Conduct and Safety (Common Carrier Compliance)

All riders must:

  • Follow driver instructions at all times;
  • Wear seatbelts where provided and required by law;
  • Refrain from standing or moving about while the vehicle is in motion;
  • Behave respectfully toward drivers, other riders, and third parties;
  • Avoid damaging or soiling the vehicle beyond normal wear and tear;
  • Comply with all applicable Texas state and local laws.

Taxi Mom operates as a common carrier and owes a high duty of care to its passengers. To maintain public safety, Taxi Mom drivers have the immediate authority to remove any rider, or terminate service for the entire group without a refund, if any individual passenger's behavior is unsafe, abusive, destructive, intoxicated, or interferes with the safe operation of the vehicle.

12. Group Booking Responsibility and Authority

For group Bookings:

  • The Customer or designated group leader is the primary point of contact and is responsible for communicating with Taxi Mom and the group.
  • Taxi Mom may rely on instructions from the group leader for operational decisions.
  • The Customer represents that they have authority to book transportation on behalf of all riders in the Booking and to accept these Terms on their behalf.
  • The Customer is responsible for communicating these Terms to all riders in the group.
  • If the group splits up or is not present at the designated time and location, Taxi Mom may depart as scheduled to avoid operational disruption, and the service may be treated as completed.

13. Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds

13.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellations

Refund eligibility for Event Services is strictly capped at the percentages below and will be reduced by payment processor fees, corporate administrative fees, routing and coordination costs, and other non-recoverable operational expenses:

  • 30 or more days before service: up to 70% refund
  • 14–29 days before service: up to 50% refund
  • 7–13 days before service: up to 25% refund
  • Less than 7 days before service: NO REFUND

All refunds, if any, are issued at Taxi Mom's sole discretion consistent with this schedule and the nature of the Booking.

13.2 Changes to Bookings

Customer-requested changes (date, time, route, group size, stops, vehicle type) are subject to availability and may result in updated pricing. Taxi Mom will disclose revised pricing before confirming changes. If the Customer does not accept revised pricing, the original Booking and refund rules apply.

13.3 No-Shows and Late Arrivals

  • If the Customer or group is not present at the designated pickup location during the assigned pickup window, Taxi Mom may treat the service as completed with no refund due.
  • If a group is significantly delayed in re-boarding after an event, additional wait time or a second trip, if available, will be charged as a distinct fee at Taxi Mom's prevailing event rates.

13.4 Taxi Mom Cancellations

If Taxi Mom cancels an Event Service for reasons within Taxi Mom's reasonable control and cannot offer a suitable alternative, Taxi Mom will issue a refund for the affected service portion. Force majeure events and conditions outside Taxi Mom's control are addressed in Section 16.

14. Payments, Additional Charges, and Chargebacks

14.1 Payments

Payment is processed through Taxi Mom's approved payment methods at the time of Booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing. By completing a Booking, the Customer authorizes Taxi Mom to charge the provided payment method for the agreed fare and any approved additional services or fees as described in these Terms.

14.2 Additional Charges and Authorization

The Customer authorizes Taxi Mom to charge the payment method on file for documented ancillary costs, including:

  • Cleaning and Detailing Fees: Resulting from spills, vomiting, bodily fluids, excessive trash, or physical damage;
  • Repairs/Replacement Costs: For physical damage caused to the vehicle interior, exterior, or equipment by riders;
  • Lost Property Compensation: For lost or stolen property belonging to Taxi Mom;
  • Operational Overages: For excessive wait time, additional stops, extended service time, or out-of-area routing requested or caused by the Customer or group;
  • Financial Fees: Administrative costs associated with unpaid balances, returned payments, or card processing disputes to the extent permitted by law.

14.3 Chargebacks and Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with a financial institution, the Customer agrees to make a good-faith effort to contact Taxi Mom through official corporate channels to resolve the billing or service concern. A chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal request does not cancel a Booking, waive applicable cancellation terms, or eliminate responsibility for amounts owed under these Terms. Taxi Mom reserves the right to deny future service, pursue collection of unpaid amounts, and provide full digital audit trails to financial institutions in connection with any dispute.

15. Hotel, Venue, and Third-Party Access Restrictions

Hotels, stadiums, fan zones, airports, and other venues control their own access rules, staging areas, and loading zones.

  • Taxi Mom does not control and cannot guarantee access to specific driveways, loading docks, curb locations, or parking areas.
  • Where direct access is restricted by law enforcement, private security, or venue coordinators, Taxi Mom will use the nearest lawful and safe pickup and drop-off location reasonably available.
  • If a security checkpoint or road closure prevents the vehicle from reaching a specific gate, dropping passengers at the closest lawful and safe perimeter checkpoint constitutes full performance of the contract, and no partial refunds will be issued.
  • Additional walking distance, security screening, or queuing required due to third-party rules is outside Taxi Mom's control and is not grounds for refunds.

16. Delays, Event Conditions, and Force Majeure

16.1 Delays and Event Conditions

FIFA 2026 and similar high-profile events are subject to unusual traffic, security, and operational constraints.

  • All pickup and arrival times are estimates only.
  • Traffic, accidents, road closures, construction, weather, police activity, security checkpoints, and stadium or venue operations may cause significant delays.
  • Taxi Mom is not responsible for missed games, reservations, flights, or other time-sensitive events resulting from such conditions.

16.2 Force Majeure

Taxi Mom is not responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: government actions or restrictions; public safety incidents or emergencies; strikes, labor disputes, or civil disturbances; major event schedule changes, venue changes, or cancellations; natural disasters, severe weather, or infrastructure failures; acts of terrorism or threats thereof. In such circumstances, services may be modified, delayed, or canceled, and any refunds, if any, will be determined consistent with the then-current refund policy, chargeback policy, and liability limitations and the nature of the disruption.

17. Privacy and Data Use (Event Services)

Taxi Mom collects and uses information necessary to plan, operate, confirm, and support Event Services. This includes contact details, pickup and drop-off locations, payment information processed by third-party payment processors, and digital usage data. Information is used to manage services, communicate updates, support safety, handle incidents, and address disputes. Taxi Mom's broader privacy practices are described in its companywide Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

18. Driver Authority and Official Channels

DRIVERS ARE NOT AGENTS AUTHORIZED TO MODIFY PRICING, WAIVE FEES, APPROVE REFUNDS, EXTEND SERVICE TIME, ADD STOPS, CHANGE ROUTES OUTSIDE THE CONFIRMED BOOKING, OR MAKE EXCEPTIONS TO THESE TERMS UNLESS TAXI MOM CORPORATE OR AN AUTHORIZED DISPATCHER EXPRESSLY CONFIRMS THE CHANGE THROUGH OFFICIAL DIGITAL DISPATCH CHANNELS. ANY AGREEMENT OR UNDERSTANDING REACHED VERBALLY WITH A DRIVER THAT IS NOT CONFIRMED THROUGH OFFICIAL TAXI MOM CHANNELS IS VOID AND NOT BINDING ON TAXI MOM.

19. Vehicle Substitution

Taxi Mom may substitute a vehicle of similar or greater capacity when necessary due to fleet availability, safety, maintenance, regulatory requirements, or operational needs. Vehicle substitution does not create a right to refund if the substituted vehicle reasonably satisfies the confirmed capacity and service requirements.

20. Lost Items

Taxi Mom is not responsible for personal items left in vehicles. Taxi Mom may make reasonable efforts to locate and return lost items as a courtesy. Return delivery, storage, shipping, or special handling may be subject to additional charges.

21. Liability, Risk, and Insurance

21.1 Assumption of Risk

Transportation involves inherent risks, including accidents, delays, and disruptions caused by traffic, weather, construction, public events, and third-party actions. By using Event Services, the Customer and riders explicitly acknowledge and accept these risks.

21.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAXI MOM IS NOT LIABLE FOR: DELAYS OR INTERRUPTIONS CAUSED BY TRAFFIC, WEATHER, ROAD CLOSURES, SECURITY CHECKPOINTS, LAW ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITY, OR VENUE OPERATIONS; MISSED EVENTS, GAMES, RESERVATIONS, FLIGHTS, OR OTHER TIME-SENSITIVE COMMITMENTS; INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO EVENT SERVICES, EVEN IF TAXI MOM HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IF TAXI MOM IS FOUND LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO EVENT SERVICES, TAXI MOM'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE EXACT AMOUNT PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THE SPECIFIC EVENT SERVICE AT ISSUE, EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

21.3 Insurance

Taxi Mom and/or its operating partners maintain insurance coverage for vehicles and operations as required by applicable Texas law and local regulations.

22. Governing Law, Conspicuousness Compliance, and Venue

THESE TERMS ARE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS, WITHOUT REGARD TO ITS CONFLICT-OF-LAW PRINCIPLES. ANY DISPUTE, COLLECTION ACTION, PAYMENT DISPUTE, CHARGEBACK-RELATED CLAIM, OR LEGAL PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS, THE BOOKING, PAYMENT, OR EVENT SERVICES SHALL BE BROUGHT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE STATE OR FEDERAL COURTS LOCATED IN OR SERVING COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, UNLESS APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE. THE CUSTOMER AGREES THAT THE WAIVERS, LIABILITY LIMITATIONS, PAYMENT TERMS, REFUND TERMS, AND VENUE REQUIREMENTS IN THESE TERMS ARE CONSPICUOUS, UNDERSTOOD, AND ACCEPTED BY SUBMITTING PAYMENT.

23. Changes to These Terms

Taxi Mom may update these Special Event Transportation Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be posted on Taxi Mom's official website or booking portal with an updated effective date. Continued use of Event Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

By submitting payment, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and explicitly agree to the Taxi Mom® Special Event Transportation Terms & Conditions, including the FIFA 2026 Affiliation Disclaimer, Non-Refundable Deposit Policy, Rider Conduct Rules, and Collin County, Texas Venue Clause. I certify that I have the legal authority to bind all passengers in my traveling group to these Terms.
